How customer context changes the answer

Five sales questions answered by Aida and Claude, with the full responses and the figures each reported.

Claude had conversation search and CRM access. These are selected examples, not a representative benchmark or an accuracy score.

What the CRM fields leave out

A customer’s email tells you what they said. The deal record tells you what happened: whether they signed, what they bought, and why the opportunity was lost.

Aida connects those details with calls and conversations so your team can answer questions that span the full relationship. In the examples below, that meant explaining cancellations, recognizing competitive deals, and tracing customer complaints across weeks.

Where the answers differ

In one comparison, Aida and Claude reached opposite conclusions about whether competitive win rates were improving. Both had access to customer data, but they identified different sets of deals. The examples below show what each answer included and where the differences came from.

Some representative loss reasons:

Fernwick Heath Group ($150,700): "Crewline seemed more equipped to handle the intricacies of multiple unions, multiple zones and jurisdictions."

Fernwick Point Solutions ($75,000): "Crewline had custom builds ready on day 1... Crewline came in lower."

Hazelwick Point Construction ($136,000): "Crewline was able to offer a sandbox with a quick turnaround, not just for payroll but also for time entry and HR."

Junipercrest Point Solutions ($20,680): "Crewline had a couple of features that they liked better... the majority of the team preferred Crewline."

Key Takeaways

Win rate is improving. By deal count, it moved from 12.9% in 2025 to 16.7% in 2026 YTD. By dollar value, the jump is much larger (4.1% to 22.2%), driven by winning bigger deals against Crewline in 2026.

Winning bigger, losing smaller. Average won deal size against Crewline went from ~$8.7K to ~$28.2K, while average lost deal size dropped from ~$30.1K to ~$19.7K. This suggests the team is competing more effectively on higher-value opportunities.

Q3 2026 is the strongest quarter yet against Crewline, with 5 wins out of 15 encounters. However, Crewline remains a formidable competitor with roughly 5 out of 6 deals still going their way overall.

UI/Ease of Use and product gaps remain the top loss drivers. Investments in product maturity, sandbox/demo environments, and union payroll complexity would likely have the highest impact on improving the win rate further.

Claude's run: 15 tool calls (13 CRM, 2 search) · 11 conversations read

Aida combined deal-level competitor signals extracted from conversations with a transcript scan and reported six, later ten, wins against Crewline in 2026, a 25 percent win rate. Claude relied on the two human-entered CRM competitor fields, found one 2026 win and reported a 92 percent collapse. The ten wins Aida named are real closed-won deals and none of them carries Crewline in those fields, so the CRM-only method inverts the trend. The customer's own tally later confirmed Aida's direction.

The context behind the answer

Understand which customer you mean.

A company name in a question can be incomplete or ambiguous. In the cancellation example, resolving that name led Aida to a history of implementation problems and billing frustrations.

Read what the sales conversation reveals.

A competitor can come up in a call without being entered in the CRM. In the year-over-year example, the two answers reached opposite conclusions about whether the team was winning more often.

Look across the whole period.

A handful of search results can miss recurring issues or a useful customer detail. The weekly report and invitation examples show the practical difference between the lists returned.

Reading the figures

Charts show values in the displayed responses. They are not accuracy scores. Differing time ranges, counting choices, and source discrepancies are noted beside the relevant examples.

Company, competitor, and person names are consistently fictional. Contact details and identifying record numbers are masked. Response wording and figures are otherwise preserved; formatting is adapted for readability. Internal citation IDs were already removed in the supplied source.

The earlier ten-case review scores do not apply to these new runs and have been removed. A later competitive result mentioned only in the commentary is not substituted for the displayed answer.
